MagicSoft Playout

Magicsoft Playout is a broadcast application with a client-server architecture. It’s suitable for 24/7 playout to be used by movies, music, and news channels, allowing to insert commercials and switching between multiple live videos. The internal video engine will automatically resize, match the aspect ratio, and transcode the media files and the live inputs in order to match the output resolutions (supporting SD / HD / 4K output).

  • Supported containers:
    – mxf / mpg / mov / mp4 / avi / ts / rawDV
    Supported codecs:
    – H264/ HEVC / XDCAM / ProRes / MPEG

  • MagicSoft Playout accepts files

    You can manually assign a logo for any event of the playlist.

    A logo can contain multiple elements as station logo, parental rating, a status like “live” or “replay” etc.

MagicSoft CG

MagicSoft CG is a broadcast application used to easily create, display, and control a variety of different graphics projects, including Lower-Thirds, Tickers, Logos, Crawls, Clocks, and Rolls – essentially every graphics needed for the day-to-day operation of a TV station.
All SD, HD, and 4K video modes are supported for broadcast quality in a 3D working environment, with GPU-based rendering that allows you to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • The CG can be used as a solution for news allowing simultaneous management of Live input, Lower Thirds and Tickers
  • The Lower Third project is very flexible and can be easily used for managing the promo or self-promo event

Every clip in the playlist, except the one which is currently playing, can be trimmed, edited or re-positioned. Moreover, playlist order can be changed on-the-fly with commands like skip to next or jump. Such order changes are performed seamlessly without stopping the current playout session.
